The Danish Beauty Award will celebrate its 20th anniversary on April 24, 2026, at the Tivoli Congress Center in Copenhagen.

The Danish Beauty Award honors excellence within the cosmetics industry, recognizing the best beauty products of the year. Every year, there is fierce competition for the coveted statuettes across a wide range of categories. The winners are announced at a glamorous awards show that brings together beauty industry suppliers, members of the press, retailers, sponsors, and other beauty enthusiasts. The red carpet is always buzzing with excitement. Tickets for the 2026 event will go on sale via Billetlugen in early 2026.

The award categories span luxury and everyday products—from high-end brands to supermarket staples—as well as professional salon and spa products for hairdressers and cosmetologists. They include everything from fragrances, face creams, and foot lotions to sun care and beauty treatments. The list of categories for 2026 can be found here.

In most categories, a jury panel selects five nominees and one winner from the registered products. The Inner Beauty and Inner Wellbeing Awards recognize supplements, superfoods, and probiotics that enhance beauty from within.

All suppliers of beauty products are welcome to enter. The only requirements are that the products comply with cosmetic regulations and were launched in the previous calendar year. This means that the 2026 awards will recognize products introduced to the Danish market in 2025, except for the Classic category, which celebrates products that have been available for a longer period. The Inner Beauty and Wellbeing categories are open regardless of launch year—however, products that have won within the last five years cannot participate.

Registration opens November 5, 2025. An Early Bird registration period runs from December 1, and the final deadline is January 7, 2026.

Nominees and winners may freely use the official logos to promote their products.

The jury panel consists of 13 industry experts with professional backgrounds in the beauty field. The 2026 jury can be found here.

In its early years, the award was known as the Danish Beauty & Cosmetics Awards. The event is organized by Anne-Dorte Mathiesen.
